Probably everything you need to know to have confidence in our company! Read on . and you may find you won't need anyone else!

Q: How do I know you will do a good job?
A: We've built up an excellent reputation for quality and customer service because we listen to everything our customers say and insist on keeping our standards high. After every job we send out a Customer Feedback Form asking you rate us from 1 to 7 on each part of our service - from answering the phone to finishing the job. Find out more by clicking on our feedback button.

Q: Can I speak to any of your past customers?
A: Of course you can. Just ring us on 0800 056 1691 and we'll put you n touch with past and present customers we've done installation work for. And don't forget to look at our Testimonials.

Q: What is the best system for me?
A: The best system for you will depend upon your lifestyle and the size of your family. For example, a single person or a couple would probably need a 24KW combi-boiler, whereas a family of four in a three-bedroom house could be better with a 30 to 35KW combi-boiler.

Q: Do you install the most energy efficient systems?
A: We always recommend the most energy efficient system. This helps reduce global warming, reduces your fuel bills and increases your comfort levels.

Q: Do you clean up your mess after you finish a job?
A: We make sure we make the minimum mess and always clean up during and after the installation. Our dedicated Environmental Department makes sure this is done to your satisfaction.

Q: What's the difference between a combi-boiler and a conventional system?
A: The difference is simple. A combi-boiler does not have a stored hot water cylinder or a cold water tank in an airing cupboard or the loft. It heats the water instantaneously, as you need it. Therefore you don't have to heat up a tank full of hot water, and you save on your hot water running costs.

Q: What is a condensing boiler?
A: A condensing boiler reuses the gas it burns, recycling it to heat the water coming back to the boiler. This makes it more fuel-efficient and reduces the high flue temperatures of exhaust gasses going into the atmosphere. Condensing boilers can be combi-boilers or non-combi-boilers.

Q: Will I save money on my gas bills with a condensing boiler?
A: A condensing boiler will slash your gas bills - so why not upgrade your existing boiler?

Q: Do you have the relevant licences and qualifications?
A: CHIEF Engineers have all the relevant licences. We are, of course, CORGI registered and ACS registered, we have the energy efficiency accreditation, are approved Worcester Bosch installers at the prestigious Gold Member level.

Q: What warranties and guarantees do you offer?
A: As a Gold Member of Worcester Bosch we offer our customers a three-year parts and labour warranty on our boiler systems.

Q: How long does an average installation take?
A: An average combi system upgrade normally takes approximately three days.

Q: Is it wise to have my system power flushed?
A: It's recommended you have your system power flushed. A full power flush using the latest power flushing equipment will defiantly enhance the performance and efficiency of your new boiler and existing radiators. It will also prolong the life of your system.

Q: Do you offer service contracts and when will I need one?
A: We offer full service contracts for every installation we carry out. Note: a full service contract will not be required within the first three-year warranty period. But the boiler will need servicing every 12 months, and cost £75.00+VAT.

Q: If I have a shower with my new combi-boiler will I need a shower pump?
A: When you have a new or existing shower connected to your new combi-boiler, there is no need for a shower pump as the mains pressure will give an exhilarating shower.

Q: Will I have new heating controls with my new boiler?
A: When you have your new boiler installed, as a part of energy efficiency best practice we fit thermostatic radiator valves, a room thermostat and a programmer as necessary.

Q: Can I have a condensing boiler installed?
A: You can have a condensing boiler installed provided it complies will all relevant regulations which we will confirm when we visit your property.

Q: When can you start work?
A: We can normally start work within two weeks of a property survey.

Q: Are your prices competitive?
A: Our prices are competitive. Generally, if you get three quotes, you'll find that our price is in the middle. We position ourselves there so we can afford to provide you with a high level of service.

Q: Will I have to pay a deposit?
A: Once you decide to go ahead we will require a 30 per cent deposit and the balance when the job is completed to your satisfaction.

Q: How can I pay?
A: You can pay by debit card, credit card (two per cent surcharge) or building society cheque. We also offer finance.

Q: Will I get a cheaper price from a one-man-band ?
A: A one-man-band will certainly charge less, but are you prepared to lose all that a CHIEF registered can offer you - and that all-important Peace of Mind! Note click on our latest news page and see what happens when you use cowboys.
